Wiil Pro work on Home

Well a update but need some advice. Can X/P Pro be installed on a pre install of X/P Home version. Still no more information on warranty return.
Any advice appreciated

Yes, you can upgrade home to pro.

Thanks.. anythjng special that is required as my home version is not functioning. Reformatting,ect. I assume.

Pop XP Pro in the cd drive, if Pro is an update version it will ask for a previous full version OS cd. This is just to verify that you qualify to be able to install using the update cd.

Or you can always just have XP Pro format the drive when you're installing the OS.

However, you don't have to format, but if your haveing issues with XP home, it might be the best route to take.
