I'm setting up a games server at work right now it is a PII 350 w/128mb ram on a Abit BH6
I want to go dual and was wondering about the Abit BP6... I noticed the specs said that it can do upto 466. Did abit leave room to OC these?
I plan on running Quake TF/CTF/DM and eventually Half Life. Do yall think 128mb ram will be enough? I never ran a Half Life server so I 'm not sure what it would need.
Thanks!

Ive never run a HL server..only client side. I tried ruinning a Q3test server the other day (non DS) with only one other client. My 128 RAM didnt cut it i think (I have a P2 350 OCed to 497), cuz it kept choppin every 5 seconds or so. If its a DS, I dont think youll have a problem, but if its not, you may have choppyness when you play n stuff...Then again maybe not since Q3test is much more demanding than HL.

I would like to recommend this one Abit BP6 Dual PII/Piii Bx. It is an excellent overclocking motherboard with soft bios that will allow to overclock from the bios (no jumpers). You can also upgrade bios but I don't think you need that right now. It supports 66, 100, 133mhz. There is plenty of room to grow. It supports ultra dma 33 and 66. In many ways, this motherboard is unique.

Ok I think I will go with the BP6 next payday... now I got another question..
What processors would you suggest? I was thinking of going with 466's and OC them to 525 (i hope),
Also what type of cooling do you suggest? I was thinking of going pelteir (sp?) but the can get pricey and I hear dangrous if you screw up.
Sorry if i'm a pain, i never delt with a 370 board :-(
Thanks
