I like the bit where Bill Gates says "I wouldn't advise anyone to install it" due to the fact that it's 'pre-alpha'... as if he would if it were working... :D

By Billy Gates
Longhorn makes big changes to Windows by altering its filing system, improving security and graphics and make the software less prone to crashes.Seems to me that ole Billy has been saying this, or something similar ever since Winders 3.1 (The last truly stable Windows OS).

It’s not even going to dent MS pocket, such a poor country, and I’m sure MS are in the middle of tackling this situation by pushing back the release date of longhorn giving them time to alter Longhorn in small ways and add some more newer features make a change to some file systems, and I can tell you the leaked Version will not even be worth 2 bucks by the time MS have the ORG out.

Prolly just another reason for Billy to raise prices some more on his software to "compensate" for the "loss" due to pirated software

I got both these for free from ms...
XP PRO (they just never charged me)
Small Buisness Server 2003 Premium (it just showed up one day, I didn't order it but I'm not sending it back :D)

I'm just sitting tight waiting for my free version of Longhorn, no way I'm going to pay $2 for it when I can get a copy from MS for free :)

Exactly, why pay two bucks when you can get it for free? It is, after all, a leaked version. Why should I pay for that?I got both these for free from ms... You luck son of a gun.

How the heck do you manage that? It must be a shipping glitch where you live.Prolly just another reason for Billy to raise prices some more on his software to "compensate" for the "loss" due to pirated software:mad: How dare he! Trying to get his stolen money back! Who does he think he is? A bussiness man with a copyright?

Yeah, he may want to get his stolen money back, but why should he be getting it back off of ppl who didn't steal it in the first place??? I didn't steal his copyrighted software, but I'm expected to pay for the guy who did?? That sure makes a whole lotta sense

I even called them about XP PRO and told them they hadn't charged me. To quote the rep after she talked to her boss "today's my lucky day". They just don't seem interested in charging me for anything, and I'm not fighting them.
