Using a mic in bf1942

I just bought a headset with a mic and was wondering if it is possible to talk to teamates with it instead of typing.

Many servers have a Teamspeak server setup. My BF1942 clan, and many other clans use it to talk to people instead of typing. Download the client version from www.teamspeak.org and whenver you go into a server, mostly clan servers, they will have a public Teamspeak server address posted in the opening message or have it set to show up in the text every now and then. Put that address into teamspeak and you should be able to connect.:t
