not a good sign, I'm not a big fan of gateway after my experiences with their tech support and hardware, but I'm totally for their competition!!

I totally agree with the statement about customer service. I had ordered a new PC and wanted this really nice set of speakers but they said I couldn’t get those. Whatever, it was ok with me. So they send me these really crappy spkrs. I called them and they said they would send my out some different ones. Well, they sent me the ones I wanted in the beginning but guess what, they didn’t work. Gateway and all there super smart people could not tell my why this sprks wouldn’t work. I figured out they were a digital input, so I bought a new sounds card to make them work. What a bunch of idiots. If you are going to sell a product, you should know something about the product you sell.
BTW, they are a really great set of Boston Acoustic spkrs… http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Well i can't comment on the customer service as fortunately i hav'nt needed em' so far!! I am pleased with my current system from Gateway. Compared to others of the same spec mine flies. One minor hitch i s'pose is the fact that my 1 gig processor only runs @ approx 997 mhz.........!
And btw if your sound system is the one one i'm thinkig, it's the BOSTON Digital BA7500 with the 4 tall,slim spkrs & sub right? Yes it rocks! I own them aswell...........Byeeeee http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
