Ham and Pineapple is very good, and it's NOT the same as "Canadian" bacon. In fact in Canada they put Ham on Hawaiian Pizzas, not back bacon (that which you are incorrectly labelling as "Canadian" bacon.)

BTW: I lived in Canada for a number of years, and back bacon isn't the only kind of bacon available there.

Back bacon is much leaner than regular "streaky" bacon. The lower fat content means it tastes more like ham.

However it's not ham, and coincidentally is one of the things that's guaranteed to generate anger in Canadians.
