Bit of a curious question. There are some files in a folder on my works computer that the winnt folder on my PC. The folder is C:\multimedia files\music\interactive music. The files all have the extension .STY. or .PER. They have various names such as caribean.sty or amadeus.sty. Can anyone tell me what these are used for or indeed how they can be used.
May thanks. I have asked a lot of system support guys at work but they don't know.

Hi,
First of all Welcome to Sysopt.
I looked all over the place for the extension*.per and couldn't find anything.
The *.Sty one came up in a few places.
Take a look at the link below. It's got a huge range on file extensions and their details. If it doesn't help out this time it's worth keeping it bookmarked for another time. I first cam across it from a link right here on Sysopt

Hope this helps

.PER = WP Program Editor Resident Area
.STY = Style Sheet or MS Interactive Music Control or LaTeX2e Style
