Buji 08-21-2001, 07:42 PM Check these guys out, https://www.re-inks.com/CanSite.htm They have a US site as well. I bought bulk ink in black and the three colours and the price was right and the shipping was fair ($4 for 1 bottle 8oz.and $8 for 3x8oz)and fast, and wasn't charged to my credit card until it arrived on my doorstep.(4days) They will sell you cartridges as well as bulk ink, 8oz of black for $20 or 1 qt for $55. Colours are $15 and $45. (Can $)They sell refill kits as well. All ink is formulated for the printer it is to be used in, not universal ink. wesley313 08-21-2001, 08:07 PM I see they have ink refilling stuff. Should I go for that instead? If so do I choose the classic or the neat n easy stuff? And for color, what does it mean each color? Buji 08-21-2001, 08:24 PM Colour cartridges have 3 colours in them in 3 different chambers. Yellow, Cyan and Magenta. When your cartridge runs low on 1 colour you get strange colours or streaking as it mixes the 3 to get all colours including black. So if you were to buy the 3 colours separately you can refill just the colour that is low instead of chucking the cartridge in the garbage because it's missing one colour. I personally went with the bulk refills and ordered 3 syringes and refill each colour as it gets low. The neat and easy kits, I think come with gloves and a holder to hold the cartridge when refilling, and enough ink to do a few but if you do the math and order the syringes separately and the bulk ink, it works out to way less for each refill. I use an Ink Hog for a printer (Lexmark) but it is very easy to refill the cartridges. $20 for 250ml of black and $1.50 for a syringe + $4 shipping= $25.50 @ 10ml to fill a Lex black = 25 refills @ 25.50 or $1.02 each cheaper if you're American. I think the refill kits give you 8-10 refills for $30 or $40. wesley313 08-21-2001, 08:33 PM So what should I exactly buy for my lexmark 3200? I want enough black and color for a long time but I don't want to spend a lot. Buji 08-21-2001, 08:55 PM 8oz black=$15+30ml syringe $1.25= $16.25 (US) (25refills) Kit for 4 refills =$17.95 (maybe they throw in rubber gloves) 3x8oz colour= $30 +3 syringes = $33.75 (25 refills) Kit for 8 colour refills= $27.95 Kit for 26 refills per colour= $48.95 Buying bulk is cheaper. From what I have read, Lexmarks can be filled 8-10 times. It all depends on how much printing you do. The ink has a shelf life of at least 2 years. onewave4me 08-21-2001, 08:56 PM I have to say the re-ink is priced right and I had mine in 3 days. 8oz each color and a quart of black has kept my hp870 happy for over a year! wesley313 08-22-2001, 07:37 AM okay, if i order an oz of black and a 30ml syringe, how do i refill my current cartrige? And how do i know when its full?
