Who in there right mind would go out and get a cpu (that costs too much) and has a way of tracking the user. well just goto the artical from ZDnet and read. CUSTOMERS are intels number 1 enemy !!!!

Got one at work! 500Mhz P3, demo review model.. Marked 'Intel Confidential' on cpu.
It rocks even with NT,
BTW: u can disable the ESN thru bios!
So whats the problem?

If we can change FSB in software, why wouldn't we be able to enable BIOS-disabled ID#s in software? Something to think about....
