can´t open xl shared file

Help!
I loss access to an xl file. It seems to be related to file properties such as "read only" or "shared folder" but I already change all of that, even remove microsoft net client from Net properties.

What else can I do???
Xl doesn´t shows anything about to file corruption so it got to be fine, right?

We'll need alot more detail, like where the file is and how you connect to it.

The File is in "My documents" folder and That was a local shared folder but as I´d said before itsn´t shared anymore. I don´t have my pc connected in network right now.

The exactly error statement is:
"Imposible obtener acceso a ´*.xls´. Puede que el archivo sea de solo lectura, que intente obtener acceso a una ubicacion de solo lectura o que el servidor en el que se encuentra el documento no responda".

Which translated means:
"Unable to get acces to ´*.xls´. It may be that file be read only, or it tries to reach a read only location or that the server which hold it doesn´t reply". (or something like that)

Try using the Search function to scan your hard drives for it. If you saved the file to floppy last time, that's exactly where it will look for it now.
