Personally, I use AdSubtract Pro and enjoy the capabilities!

Try PopUp Killer: goto ZDNet and search for it. PopUp Killer is also compatible with Opera and Netscape to boot.

Panicware's stopper is also very good, but it will stop you from using mulitple IE windows.

I really like AdSubtract...it doesn't stop everything but it works good for me.

I've tried several. I like pop up stopper the best. It won't let another window open at all unless you press shift.

I have also been using RustyGT's suggestion, from panicware, software is called "don't panic". excellent utility.

I use IE and a $10 shareware called PopNot. It works real fine. You can turn it off and on. Sometimes it's necessary to have it off. It's worth the money. I don't even know there are pop ups on the net.

A friend of mine uses Pop Up Killer. It's apparently free and he likes it!
