Interested in getting an indoor amplifed TV antenna for my 32" in the livingroom. Anyone have and experience with these? I'm looking for excellent TV reception. We live in the city but we want something that will deliver. Can't stand watching the Simpsons with a fuzzy screen...Any help much appreciated.

No cable for me...I just use the TV with the VCR & DVD. The only show that I watch on TV is The Simpsons. So thats why I only want antenna reception, no need to pay ridiculous cable tv prices...Anymore suggestions??

Do you get good reception with a pair of rabbit ears, right now?
Amplification for an indoor antenna may or may not help you. If you do decide to buy one buy a quality from Terk.
I think you have 2 other options:
1) Get basic cable for $10 a month.
2) Get an outdoor TV antenna.
Either of those two things will guarantee you a perfect picture/sound with no hassle.
You could buy an amp. indoor antenna at The Shack for $70.00 or go to CircuitCity and buy a Terk one for $100.00, but you may not be pleased with the results.

I have an RCA amplified antenna, and I like it a lot. Reception still varies depending on where you put it (my current bedroom gets crappy reception, but in the livingroom in my last apartment the difference between amplified and not was totally amazing!) Made most stations look like cable.
Don't buy Magnavox. My parents did and it's a total piece of junk. For the RCA, normal price is $30-40.

some cable companies offer a local station only package for 4-5 dollars and I do not think that is out of line...yours may or may not but it wont hurt to ask and thats all my suggestions..
