I have one of those UDMA cables but unsure of proper way to connect for best speed/transfers.
COnnectors are Gray, Blue & black
Which goes to the MB ,drive 1 & drive 2

Thanks

Also when system boots up I get verifying
DMI Pool Data .... I've tried everything to get this to to stop. I check all BIOS settings. I've disconnected/reconnected all internal components one at a time but still get that verifying at boot.
Any suggestions

Welcome to SysOpt

Blue on the motherboard and use the black if you only have one drive connected to the cable. The grey is normally designated for the slave, but it really doesn't matter if you have two drives connected, because "master" and "slave" are determined by the jumpers on the drives.
