Hi...I need to send someone money in Hungary and I have the option of Western Union but I know I probably have to pay like 15 or 20 bucks fee. Anyone know any other less expensive way? Can I send him my bank check? Does usps money order good enough? What about a cashier check purchased here in US and send it to him? Please help...dont' want to lose too much money sending money:cry:

Some foreign banks place a hold even on an International Cashiers check....best way to send money safely is bank to bank transfer.

Just my view here - any of the above ideas should be acceptable except sending cash. Theft from mail is still widespread in Eastern Europe. I have friends in Czech Republic but they have advised me never to use regular mail for anything of value - and Royal Mail told me they don't even offer Registered Mail to some countries in that region.

The best possible way to send money internationally (lot of money I hope) is to send it to Colombia S.A. to my attention:
BillForce.....I will see that it get's into the proper hands.:D :D
