Hi, I'm a moron.
Is this possible? The search page doesn't seem to allow?
Takes too long to clicky all of the forums.
Bet the moderators have this ability and they laugh at all of us peons (not the sub-atomic particle).
Can't anarchy just rule.

Your psuedocode is a little complex for the task.
May I suggest:
select * from (tables holding data)
where "post date" >= (lasttimeIsignedon)
Of course, one would normally realize that few people post with a future date.

Actually no SQL will work as UBB does not run off of a database. It's just plain ole html files. Slow it is, but I have grown to love it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

UBB's backend is a bunch of text data files, no DB. Perhaps soon I'll be able to implement a DB driven board.

you can set your preferences for sysopts site to show only topics from the last day, last 2 days, last 5 days.... it will only remain until cookies are cleared tho, then it defaults to topics from the last day.
cheers!

no prob!
I may not be totaly correct saying the preferences are stored in cookies(I didn't visually check), but my preferences remain even after closing all instances of ie and later re-opening and going back to sysopt. But my preferences are changed back if I do delete my cookies, so I put 1 and 1 together and decided on a cookie!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
cya!
