I am having problems with 3d/ 4 speaker sound, some times it works and some times it doesn't, however if I test it with the test button on main, it works. What gives? I have it all setup properly I'm sure. I have the latest drivers and windows 2000 with a T-bird 800, 256mb pc133 via mobo.

ok I can get 4 speaker sound now, but when I open a game or other utility it reverts back to 2 speaker sound. Please help, I know there are people out there with these sound cards as I have seen you post them here in the forums, so please dont be shy or try to hide.

Go to the Herc website. The FAQ they have for the GTXP covers this problem. Personally, I got tired it and took the thing back after 3 weeks.

I haven't had anything but great luck with my Game Theater. I'm also running Win 2K, 1.3 TBird, ect. My speakers are Altec Lansing ADA890's 4.1.

Of course I built this for a gaming system but I don't game so I can't help there but in MP3 and DVD playback it sound AWESOME - just ask the people down the street - hehe.

Been to the Herc website and have benn using their froums, have found the information gained very useful. In regards to my question I have been told that with the current drivers this can sometimes happen with certain games. Hercules hopes to fix this in the next released drivers.
