I am wondering how smooth the game runs on that card. Which setting can you run and still get a smooth game? Also, how fast is your cpu speed? Right now, I can only run at the lowest setting with it running very smooth. If i put it at medium setting, it is still pretty smooth, although the graphics don't zoom by as fast. I think my bottleneck is my P3 800. So i am wondering how does the TI4400 do on a faster cpu? Thanks.

Yeah your processor is your bottleneck. If you don't have money for an upgrade you can try overclocking your current setup if your system allows.

My wifes MSI Ti4200 paired with a Barton 2500 benches around 12,500 3dmark2k1 and nothing is overclocked. It still runs all new games perfectly. You are right about the bottleneck on your system. That processor is holding you back.

I had a Ti4400 and a Barton 2500+@3200+ and played underground at 1024x768 with maximum detail settings except motion blur and light trails because those made it harder to play.

ramon, you had no slowdowns? is the game just as fast as the game when it is low detail? I notice the game doesn't become choppy at higher res, the frames just aren't as fast, but it is still smooth.

I never really tried it with lower detail settings... I just know that at the settings I had, i was always between 30 and 45 fps.

Try overclocking your graphics card and seeing what kind of FPS gains you get. If you get healthy gains then your vid card is the bottleneck which I'm 99% sure it isn't.

I wouldn't even bother overclocking the video card as i'm 100% sure it isn't the bottleneck... Its not worth overclocking until you get to ATLEAST the 1.4GHz mark.

Yeah actually that would be quite an upgrade from my lousy P3 450.:t

Even on my previous card it played very decent, a Gf3 Ti 500 but I'm running an AMD XP 2700+ so yeah, definitely need a processor upgrade.
