i need help deciding either to overclock my sys or leave it as it is.
i have a P233 MMX
64mb ram
24x cd rom
a 2gig fujisu HD
a 10gig maxtor HD
and if i overclock it how far could i go?

I dont think its worth the cost of cooling to OC a P233 MMX! I think these were the last Pentium chips made, and therebuy had to change to a different process to get them to higher speeds (PII)

1)Do you have PII-233 or P233? 2)A lot depends on your MB.Some are more flexible than others as far as overclocking. 3)I would strongly advise you get a good heatsink/fan(s)for your CPU.They run hot enough without overclocking.....
I have a PII-233 which I clocked to 266.Anything over that the CPU started acting up.However,my Intel MB really isn't designed for overclocking....You may also want to buy another 64mb of RAM.This helped my system out quite a bit,especially in 3D games and graphic applications........DawgTuff.
