This is a lame question, but a micro ATX board will install no problem in an ATX case, right? I mean, sure it fits, but are the mounting holes in the same location?
Never dealt with a microATX before...

It should be no problem at all! Micro-ATX mobo (motherboard) inside ATX case is fine to do, but not the other way around where you have an ATX mobo and a micro-ATX case. The pre-drilled holes for the stand-offs are all standardized and should allow you to fit a micro-ATX mobo into the ATX case.
If you look at the compatibility of the case to motherboards, then it should list ATX mobos as well as micro-ATX mobos. So don't worry about it. Good luck!

I was just researching this myself and found a "white paper" on mATX form standards.
As for hole locations all are the same except at the bottom back side of the board where 2 hole changes were made next to were the PCI slots are located. These locations are not found on ATX boards. So look carefully at mounting standoffs before installing mATX board into an ATX case
These mounting positions are of course present in mATX cases.
