Cant write to nas with Mandrake

Hello Every One!!!

I have Mandrake 9.2 on my computer (single Boot) on a small network. I also have a network attached storage via network cable into an 8 port linksys router. The problem I have is that I cant save anything to my network attached storage. I can view and copy from the storage to mandrake but not to the storage device. I have changed permissions to write all users but still no luck.

any suggestions?

How is your nas setup? What type of file system? You know Linux cannot write directly to NTFS volumes right?

I got it,

I wasnt putting in my password when mounting my NAS.

By the way the file system is fat.
