Hi there,
Basically, with my CD/RW software (Adaptec Easy CD Creater) I can create a bootable CD. In order to do so I have to insert a bootable Disk which then gets transfered to the CD. This bootable disk can be 720Kb, 1.44MB or 2.88Mb. So my question is how do you format or make a floopy disk hold 2.88Mb.

You can compress a floppy disks as you do a hard drives, however, what is being referenced here is an actual 2.88MB floppy drive and the 2.88MB disks that they can use.

So it's not possible to format a 1.44Mb disk to 2.88Mb then.

No.

I not sure you can even get 2.88 compressed.
