Epson 440 problem

Suffered clogged inkjets worse than usual, started the epson cleaning cycle which stopped fairly fast. Now all 4 front panel lights blink simultaneously at a 1 second rate. After turning unit on the cartridge carrier cycles and then parks about 1/4" to left of normal position, all 4 lights blink.
Anyone have any idea what type of malfunction this indicates ?

Eddie, mine was doing exactly the same thing.
I replaced both the color cartridge and the black, and that seemed to stop it.
But it made horrendous noises and the print head would scoot back and forth to no end.

What a way to tell you to replace the cartridge.
