after a clean install of windows, which should i install first via 4in1 driver or detonator video driver, and what should come next?

are you sure muno, i heard on the net the opposite of what you said, are you sure there are no problems installing display driver before, and via 4in1 after? anyone else knows anything about this topic?

I believe it needs to be the 4in1 drivers first, in particular the AGP drivers. I run the ATI Radeon board here, and it was a MUST to get the latest AGP drivers installed before loading the video drivers. Tried it the other way around first and system would hang everytime I rebooted. Had to go into safe mode, install the 4in1's then the video. All worked fine afterwards.
