I recently bought a system with Thunderbird K7-1000 C CPU.
When I start up my computer, it says that CPU clock is 750 Mhz.
Did they put a wrong CPU in the shop, or they just set wrong jumpers on my mobo ?
Mother board is Chaintech 7AIV5.

Your machine is booting in "safe" mode. Go into your BIOS and set your FSB from 100 to 133.

Change the front side bus in the BIOS to 133 instead of the setting it is at now which is 100.

Well, you where right!
It was 100 Mhz bus. But it was a jumper on mobo (JPX1), not in BIOS.
Thank you all for VERY quick replys.

You purchased this system already assembled and this is how you received it? I'd be a little upset.
