I have already took and passed a couple of the mcse tests for nt 4.0 before they quite giving them. How hard is the a+ exam in comparison to the mcse exams? What is primarly covered, how in depth do the questions get?
Thanks, Junior

I passed mine last year and found it quite easy, But it depends on how much you know your stuff. Like all things, if you are knowledgeable you will pass if you don't know S@#t you wont pass.
Some things that are tested: ESD, printers memory, some network, dos etc.

i bought one of thoes books, but when i looked at it i was surprised to see how easy the "practice" tests were and how much of the material i already knew.
i probably already knew 95% of the stuff in that book.

I passed the A+ exams about 2 weeks ago. I didn't study for them. I had quite a few USB questions on mine. Might want to study that a little bit extra. Lots easier that MCP exams is what I hear.
Note:
they have updated the tests in the last few months to cover more current technology. The study guides in the stores might still be for the old tests. Go to CompTIA's website and download the test objectives.
