I don't know which Memory Brand I should trust anymore. If there was a forum "container" for Memory Discussion, then I wouldn't have to post it on this "container", but apparently, I had no choice. Enough rambling, let me get it on:

A technician told me that Micron Memory has some certain problems (Maybe Thermal) when running a DDR System and he tells me that I should go with Samsung Memory instead. The only time I should be using Micron Memory is whenever I'm using a Pentium III and/or a Celeron System. He tells me that Samsung is much more reliable when running a DDR System. I had to do a lot of shopping for Micron-branded and Samsung-branded PC2100 DDR "Sticks". Which Memory Brand should I trust? Which Memory brand should I avoid? If you trust that memory brand, please tell me the reason why I should buy that memory, whereas if you don't trust that memory brand, tell me why I should avoid that memory brand. Shopping for Memory can be a real pain in the **** as I need to know your feelings about each brand that you've encountered all your computer life.

I have not heard of any problems with Micron DDR memory. When I buy memory for myself, I don't even consider anything other than Crucial/Micron.

I agree with Fingers, I have Crucial ram in both my systems and haven't had any problems.

Another question I may ask you guys:

* Do you use any "DDR Memory Cooling Kits" that reduce the heat generated by the Micron/Crucial DDR SDRAM DIMM's?

I'm planning to use Memory Cooling Kits in the future as a good cooling measure if for any reason I MUST use Micron/Crucial Memory "Sticks"...
