Hi,

I have been using Reget Deluxe 3.3 and it was working well until a days ago when I started a download it just had a waiting status and stayed like that.

To get it to work I have to open it again over the first instance of it and then it starts downloading but delivers corrupt files to me.

Also after this problem happens, if I close Reget then it stays in the Windows Task Manager even if I say it to "End Process".

I tried this a lot of times after resetting my computer, and reinstalling the whole program a number of times but this problem keeps happening. I have tried using other download managers but I would really like to be able to use Reget again properly.

So any help would be appreciated.

Uninstall from add/remove programs

Run a registry cleaner - microsofts regeclean.exe

Delete any residual reget files or directory

Reinstall

If that fails you will have to perform it again adn search the registry manually for reget keys that havent been removed.

Is this a licenced product?

Ok, I found out what the problem was. It seems that Zonealarm 4.5 was not allowing it to access the internet and therefore it was stuffing up. I will now just have to edit some Zonealarm settings then it should work fine again :)
