Does anyone know of a good website for Visual Basic for Applications (Access 97/2000) or can recommend any textbooks (neophyte level /forum/smile.gif ).

I have a very good reference book for Access (Que), but it doesn't cut it for the programming bit, so I'd like a couple of recommendations before I blow £50 on a more specific tutorial/reference book, preferably with lots of code samples and a CD.

Hi U-96 ~

Best of luck on your endeavor!

I came across this: MS Press - book & CD - Access2000, and it seems to be a decent price.

Of course, there's always MSDN, they seem out of date (!?) but you may find some useful refrences/links there. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/maininfo.htm

Many thanks to you both for your great links - exactly the stuff I was looking for!

I have the chance to do some work on the side for a friend who wants a database to track reviewers and books for the journal she works for, so I thought I'd be adventurous and add in some custom functionality... it kinda got exciting when I saw what VBA can do within Access.
Does this mean I should see the head doctor, or just get out more? /forum/wink.gif
