I have two employees who need to work on the same PC. They need to check their email but they need to log on and off in order to gain access to their inboxes and desktops. Is it possible to connect one monitor by means of a switcher or duplex cable or something to have two PC's, one for each employee? That way, they wouldn't have to keep logging on/off the same PC to read their email.

It's called a KVM switch. One box switches Keyboard, Video and Mouse between 2, or 4, or many computers.
Commonly used in server rooms, where there are many servers that each need occasional fiddling. No need to tie up many monitors and mice, and clutter up the room with KVM setps. Just use one of each to service everything.
Try http://www.blackbox.com to see what's available. Probably available for less elsewhere.

I was on www.UBID.com (http://www.UBID.com) and they had some KVM switches for $80.00 or so. Good luck...

Be careful at uBid. They like to gouge on shipping. The last item I bought there was cheaper than it cost to ship. (By the way, it was also the last item I will ever buy there.)

Sorry if I am a little slow, but they will be using the same computer at the same time ?. Is that possible ?

If you are asking whether you can divide the monitor into two windows for two computers, I would say it is possible but expensive. I don't think it is offered retail. I suggest just getting a 2nd monitor.
I seem to be missing something. If you have two employees and twp PCs, why not assign a PC to each employee. If there is data on each PC that the other needs you should network the PCs so that data is accessable.

I am pretty sure you cannot do this!! It would be like having 2 people logged on at the same time. Show the employees how to change their exchange settings in mail options so rather than logging off they can reconfigure their mail. Set up a shortcut for them also just to make it easy and if they dont mind get them to share their main login!!
