I finally got my new mobo nd processor yesterday. After 5 hours of very careful adding one card at a time and then checking I got it up and running. Here is the specs of the system.

Abit KV7A mobo
AMD T-Bird 1.2Ghz
ATI Radeon Ve 32 Mb DDR video card
Dlink 10/100 network card
Asound PCI sound card
Coolermaster fan & heatsink not sure of the type but it is about 2 inches tall with out the fan)
New Generic ATX case (generic because I can't remember)
192 MB PC133 RAM
17" BTA Monitor
Microsoft track ball mouse
HP burner (can't remember the speed)
DVD
seagate 8.4 GB HD
seagate 4.3 GB HD

D-Link 8 port router.

Right now it runs at about 53 degrees C
I only have 1 case fan at the moment. I will be putting another intake and 2 exhaust fans on this week. This will give me 2 intake and 2 exhaust. ( Dremel time )

Now what I upgraded from. The monitor, hardrives, DVD, Burner, NIC Card, Sound card, Router, and RAM were in the old system.

P 200 MHZ
Asus v3000 video card ( 4 MB)
regular serial mouse
AT case
ASUS P5AB Mobo

I got everything working last night and had to check out Half-life. Man what a diff.
I play HL online with a bunch of friends on Wednesday, firday, and saturday. Now I am too excited that I can't wait.

So what do you think of the new system?

Monetary limits kept me from getting a better video or sound card. I was at the max that my wallet could handle at the time. Maybe in a couple of months I will be able to upgrade the cards.

I am running win 98se.

Thanks
To see the graphics of the new card just blows my mind. To think that I did not upgrade the card sooner.
