Anyone know of any programs or websites I can go to that will simulate being connected to a cisco router? 2500 or 2600 series prefered but not required. I started a new class with a BUNCH of lab work, and would like to get some of it done at home if possible.
Thanks,
-Ramon

You can download some Router Simulator Softwares like thos from Boson's( Netsim).
Todd lamle had one of his own router simulator...the problem is its a demo ware...

Boson Netsim offers whole lot of customizations...the newer one supports labs till CCIE level, if i am not mistaken. This is the best one in my opinion, you make your own netwk of switches, routers, pc's. heck you can even work on ISDN and framerelay.
check it out. The best out there imo.

in demo i think you cannot go beyond the user mode, to enter into the priviledge you would have to get it registered.
Meanwhile i will check if there are any free simulators out there since i am also on the look out...but its very unlikely there will be a free one that exists out there.

yeah, i'm definatly going to need access to privledged mode, as well as all the configuration modes. Looks like i'll ask google and see what I can get.
