Ti 83 plus, need a little help

I'm not understanding their instructions too much. The memory is totally gone and I need to download the whole memory into it. There are instructions for it, but it's not working out. I was trying it on my friends pc which sucks real bad so many that was a reason. Does anyone know of more detailed instructions somewhere? Thanks.

Just so everyone knows, what camaro is referring to is a Texas Instruments graphing calculator. But i'm not quite understanding your predicament. Are you saying the entire memory is gone, or just all the data you've entered over time? I know the plus model is flash upgradeable, but I can't imagine its firmware could have lost the necessary instructions to operate the calculator.

I am familiar with the equiptment, but too am having trouble understanding what exactly you need help doing??? Maybe if you reword it or something.

Everything is gone. Since the whole firmware is upgradable it is also erasable. They even got directions for it when it happens. It wasn't working for me on my friends pc, but I'll try on mine in a few days when I get back to school. Then I'll post again if needed.
