I am going to make the move to SATA. My motherboard doesn't have it built in so I'll be buying a SATA PCI card. I only need a minimal card with 1 - 2 connections on it since I do not intend on using RAID. I have started shopping for it and there seems to be plenty of manufacturers to choose from. I was going to just buy one from Promise but thought I would ask for the opinions of the Sysopt community first.

Thanks in advance :)

Promise has more experience than all but Silicon Image. I would stick with them because SI cards are hard to find.
