low benchmarks

ok this is odd, i have my new leadtek fx5900 card and i ran 3dmark just to see what the score would be. it was actually lower than the score on my old ti4600 card (11,175). I should be getting like 15,000 - 18,000.. what can i do?

Moved to benchmarking, also we need full system specs, not just your Gfx card, whats your CPU?

AthlonXP 2400+ (ran it at 2.3ghz and got the same results)
512MB Apacer PC2100 DDR266
ASUS A7V266-E w/RAID
Leadtek Winfast A350-TDH LX Version (5900 Non-Ultra) (when i installed winfox it said it was running at 400/700, so i clocked it back up to 400/850)
SB Audigy Gamer
WD600EB 7200RPM 60GB
WD200EB 5400RPM 20GB
Aopen 10/100Mbps LAN
Volcano 9 Cooler at highest RPM
WINXP Pro ALL updates and only around 5 services running, 1 background application (winfox, to maintain 400/850mhz on video card)

If you havent done so uninstall your old display drivers and use detonator destroyer to clear up any remnants, then install the latest from www.nvidia.com, also may be worth updating your motherboard chipset drivers

Done, did I format and clean install.. detonator 50


got new via drivers.. new everything... software is totally up-to-date

You updated/patched 3dmark 2001 up to 'SE'?

Also give 3dmark03 a run through, see what that gives you

Ok this is odd, my first 3dmark bench was in the 5000 range, the one i just did (1 day later) is 4170...

something is screwed up.. i have the 3dr file for the original benchmark, i dont know how to open it..

Are you using 3dmark 03 on accident? Cause if you are 5000 is pretty good. :)
