I have a HP T45 all in one printer and it just decided that it doesn't want to print color from my system any more!

I have checked the cartridge ...got color!! Prints from my wifes system fine. (Win98se)

It was printing color the other week. Nothing has changed as far as settings or anything else like that.
I uninstalled drivers and reinstalled them....no go.

I am printing through a network. Printer is connected to her system in another room.
Checked connections...checked cartridges...prints color from hers not mine.
Really weird. Prints b/w fine...just no color.

My system.....
WinXP Pro
Asus A7N8X DLX
AMD 3000+
512 mb Corsair
120gb Maxtor

Wifes system.....
Win98se
Amd T-bird
256mb mem
40gb hd

Any thoughts???

Thanks

Just grasping here... Is it possible the drivers on your PC are corrupted somehow? I know you re-installed them but? Do you have HP's latest driver for that printer? They have one from 10/25/2001 (http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/softwareDownloadIndex.jhtml?reg=&cc=us&softitem=oj455en&prodId=hpofficeje18440&lc=en&plc=&sw_lang=en&pagetype=software). If this is newer, give them a shot. Good luck! :t

You're welcome. I figured it had to be a driver problem. Glad it's working. :t

I'm having a similar problem, networked HP color printer won't print or prints intermittently from my home network (5 machines) - my HP has the danged "printer management software" what a pain.

Screwed around with cables, switches, BIOS settings, you name it. Finally just set it up to print thru one computer, but of course that one has to be on to print anything. Otherwise I have HP laserjets in each room.

Think I'll try the w98 driver solution on all my machines (XP and ME) - just might solve my problem finally! :t
