Try overclocking the CPU (it doesnt need upgrading by any stretch of the imagination), you should be able to get up to 2.3/4Ghz but your RAM is definitley holding you back and you will need a decent motherboard.

Good score in 3dmark2003....thats cos it virtually all based on the graphics card.....and you do have one of the fastest V cards!

Like jack said....probaby memory and general system speed holding you back in 2001...but shouldnt really be that low.

Something is seriously holding you back... I get 5500s with a Raedon 7500 AiW 64MB DDR and a Barton 2500+ at stock speeds, 7000 with the Barton @ 2.25 GHz.

[EDIT] - that's with 3DMark2001SE build 330.

Got 9,943 with my new Raedon 8500 128MB card.

I wish I got that kind of score on 2003. I have a P4 3GHz, 1GB PC3200 RAM, and a 9800 Pro on an 875p chipset motherboard and I only get something like 5700.

Although on 2001, I'm just under 18000.

Odd.
