befor i moved to germany, i had adsl
there, u plug the dsl modem in your usb

well now i live in germany
here it works over the network card
well, i dont know why but since i got that, it takes like 2 minutes that all my programs (on the button right) start

when i plug my network cable out of my network card, its fine, programs load up in like dont know some seconds

if i plug the cable in again, it takes again 2 minutes
why is that???
caus always when i start my comp now, i plug cable out, start computer, when everything is loaden i plug it in again and then im going in the internet
i cant be bothered to do that all the time

You should disable DHCP on the ethernet channel where the DSL modem is.

btw, we do have USB connected and internal PCI DSL modems here too. You choose. (But the LAN connected ones are the finest and fastest anyhow.)

It's in the network controller's TCP/IP properties.
