I already have 2 ATA/100 HDD drives, master & slave and 2 IDE DVD/CDRW drives. So thats all the IDE cables taken.
How do I add another HDD?
Im not intrested in speed, just data storage. I hear and read all about RAID but not sure what it all means, it all sounds to complicated for what I want.
Is there not a card I can plug into a PCI slot that will enable me to plug another HDD into it?
I think you understand what I mean.
Thanks :)

The add on PCI card is probably the cheapest way to go. If you want some more speed, you could also go SCSI, but it's gonna cost ya. However, you can add up to 15 more devices on a SCSI card.:t

Neblua2020, you might want to add a larger Power Supply to your computer, the larger the better, the extra card and HD may over tax your system just an idea. Good Luck:t

Does the 3rd drive HAVE to be internal..? Why not buy an external USB 2.0 or Firewire HDD unit and turn it into an external HDD? About £30 here in Britain.
There is a USB 2.0 IDE cable that does the same thing. Allows you to turn an internal HDD, CD-Rom/CD-RW/DVD drive int an external device. If you don't mind exposed HDD that is...
