Are these poeple serious?

http://objective.jesussave.us/creationsciencefair.html

Search around the site... it only gets worse.....

So this is what those people coming to my house are thinking (=brainwashed).

Normally i wouldnt be so harsh towards a religious group, but they throw slander worse than angry soccer moms.

What you think?

I think all those ppl need to be wearing their signs (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=150322)!!

2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"

That's gonna go over real well...

I have no problem with ppl who are religious to the bone (not dinosaur bone mind you) but c'mon, you must have better logic and sense that that to prove the validity of creation over evolution.. And why couldn't it be a mixture of both?? Couldn't God's creations have evolved?? Are we as smart as was Adam?

IMO, to be truly religious, you must have an open mind.. not a closed one that accepts what it is told and won't contemplate any other possibilities (whether true or false)

On the other hand, those ppl make for some good fun for the rest of us!!

:p

"2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"

Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker."

Ha! HA! I'd like to see FancyF's take on this...

I think those people are idiots, by the way...

I think that the universe we live in is not just some big coincidence. I don't think it's a coincidence that Earth is exactly where it needs to be for life. Or that the Earth has such the type of climate needed for life. I think some higher being placed it there. :t

nobody is debating that topic... we are just debating the way the 'churches' go about their 'business' :t

And what makes you think there aren't DOZENS of earth similar planets in the universe. How very cavalier to think of the millions of planets in the universe, OURS may be the only one capable of supporting life. No way Jose'

Say what you will, I still think that the majority of people have troulbe with the big bang theory of creation.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I'd like to believe in some higher power, but it would have to be something that was proveable.
The only thing proveable now is that there are a lot of very gulible fanatics out there and the internet gives them all a voice.
