Yeah, so I recently made the jump to boadband. I had XP display the little dual monitor icon in the system tray and it would do a lovely job of showing my bandwidth usage. Now that I've installed a router to keep two computers online at the same time it shows me packets. I don't want packets, I want megabytes.
How do I make it so it shows me the amount of bandwidth used in megabytes instead of packets?
Thanks.

That's weird, 'cause mines says bytes. I'm running xp pro.

I guess I meant bytes instead of megabytes. Either way, I'd rather have that then packets. The question remains as to how to get it to display that.

Whether packets or bytes are shown is dependent on your NIC driver AFAIK. Might be worth checking if there are any newer versions. Failing that, you could try something like DU-Meter (http://www.dumeter.com/).
