Hi,
i have a Megaraid 1200 and i am not able to update the firmware.
As far as I know the installed firmware is worng.
The computer crash if the BIOS is enabled. Otherwise the computer can boot.
The OS (Windows Server2003 evaluation) recognizes the controller with ist wrong firmware and its "working"

Since there are no drives configured I dont know if drives can be accessed.

Now I tried to upgrade to the newest firmware 1.66. the mflash-tool recognizes the controller but unfortunately the upgrade of the firmware fails because there is no repsone of the controller.

Is there anything I can do? or is th conrtoller lost forever?
thanks for your help

Maverick

Welcome to SysOpt!

Is there a sale of those Megaraid 1200 boards at the moment?

Maybe you should ask LSI support what to do now. www.lsilogic.com

I have a MegaRAID, but I've been having it forawhile though, and I only wish it was on sale. Controller cards aren't cheap.
