:tI have one server runnig Windows 2003 and the other is running SUSE.

I was thinking could I connect my internet source to the Suse server since it will be the firewall, web, dns and mail server. Then have it route the connection to my linksys wireless router and to the windows server.

The Suse server will have 3 nic cards one in and two out.

I need one to go to the router so that my other ocs and laptop will be able to connect ot the internet as will. The laptops will be wireless.

Will the windows server still share the public domain?

I would like the windows server share the public domain as well because I would like to be the WINS server and domain controller.

Can this be done and is my way the right way to do it?

and for those who will ask why im use the windows server at all when the suse can do everything...
that is because I would like to run the windows server and those are two things i would rather set up in that server and two less things that the suse server will be doing...in other words i just want to:rolleyes:

Moved to networking.

There's no problem placing the Windows server on the LAN as the domain controller. It does not have to be the Internet gateway to perfom as one. All it needs is to be accessible to the other PCs.

Good luck setting up NAT on the Suse server though...
