recently my usb (standard gateway) mouse has developed an annoying twitch?? when I click on links(mostly leftclicks), instead of access I get a "push" or hopping back motion. Sometimes clear to the bottom of page-or into undesired links elsewhere!
Where do I look for possible (problem) sources? Slowly driving me insane-please help!!

You might want to get a USB to PS/2 converter and see if that fixes the problem. Maybe clean your mouse - reload drivers if any. Change USB ports. Clean your mouse trackballs. If all that doesn't work, try another mouse.
