Is there a program that would let you make a system recovery disk for yourself (clone systems)??? I know about the Ghost, Drive Image and all, but I was wondering, how do you make a system recovery disk where you just pop in the cd and then everything installs for you automatically.. You may call me lazy, but it's just that sometimes I just want to watch a movie and leave everything alone, since ghost or other backup software asks you and can sometime confuse you then erase all your files in a click.. So is there such a program?? Thanks guys... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

well all restore applications will require a couple of questions the most straightforward of them I have seen is "take two" which is a application that comes in the Roxio Ezcd creator Deluxe or the Adaptec 4 Deluxe retail versions. Let it be know that there is a known issue with Win2K machines but if you run the patches it works just fine under those systems as well.

Hewlett Packard makes a free program called HP Simple Backup which does exactly what you want to do.
The only drawback is that you have to have an HP Burner, I've never had a problem with any of them that I have had, So if that's not a problem then there you go!!!
Also like Mntsnow said it is very important to check for compatibility!!!

Good Luck

Thanks guys.. I knew I could rely on you guys... About Take Two, I still haven't run that program on my Roxio Easy Cd, since it made me format my computer twice, and only let me install the patch once, and never again since.. I'll still try it though, since I get the advice from you.. About the HP simple backup from SPEEDO, I will try that as well eventhough I have the Plextor 1210A.. Thanks you guys.. Been very helpful.. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
