yeah, i downloaded it when it first became available, didn't like it much at all, found it very buggy, and unstable (can't remember exactly what problems I had, but I sent a lot of information to microsoft about my experience with it), lokked quite nice though and the picture size thing was quite cool too.

I have been using it for a month. It has some bugs especially when typing in web addresses. I will be using 5.5 until I have heard better things.

P.S. VERT is right The picture size thing is a nice feature

I downloaded IE6 about a week ago and I haven't had any problems. There aren't that many changes but the ones that were made are cool. No it is not in the XP layout http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif but so far I have had no problems with it. Hope you enjoy it.

Link for the IE6 Beta.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/preview/default.asp

I've used the IE6 beta for quite awhile now.
Haven't had a problem with it. Not one.
I have it installed in WinME and Win2k my dual boot drive. This is my beta and "What does this program do?" testing drive.
My main drive Win98SE is sticking with 5.5, for now.
Same computer, drives are in removable racks.

Alright, I need to run a virus scan on my fingers. They seem to be typing what they want to.lol
At least I catch mistakes before I hit the Submit Reply button.

I've been using it since it first came out. The second preview definitely is less buggy. I like the picture toolbar that pops up when you hover your pointer over a picture (even on a site that has the right-click disabled!). What I really like is the extra security features. You can set both primary cookies and 3rd part cookies separately. I have my 3rd party cookies set to auto decline and primary to prompt...I like to know what's going on my computer.

Overall, I'd give it a thumbs up. Assuming they fix any other bugs in the final version (ones that I haven't come across since I've had no problems at all) then it should be rather popular.

You bet.
Ya know, I'm gonna have to toy around with IE6 a little more. I didn't even realize it had a picture size function.

yeah,
not too many changes were made, exept like ya ll saidbefore the ones made were pretty good, it had a sort of false advertisement with the description, made it sound like it has the new xp layout(which woulda been sweet) but o well, btw when they do release a xp version of ie, wil it be available to winme users? or will the be greedy and make u buy winxp?

There is no resize function. You can save any image on a web page that you hover over with your cursor. All you have to do is click the save button that pops up over any image on the page. neat o
