First let me give you my system's specifications:

P4 2.53ghz
512mb RAM
Asus P4B533
ATI 9700 Pro
Windows XP Pro

I bought Call of Duty and when I first ran it, I set everything to max. The game was running perfectly until the level where "I" am inside a car. My computer totally freezes and I have to restart it. I got an error message saying something about the video card's driver( catalyst 3.9) and that the video card's cpu had to be reinitialized, something like that (sorry, I don't remember). I decided to go back to catalyst 3.8 and I kept getting the same problem. I decided to play that part in safe mode and everything went fine. When they crash the car, I set all the options back to max and when they get the second car and go for a hide again, I didn't have the problem I was having before. That is odd isn't it?

Go to the Catalyst 3.7's - that fixes it.
