Mirroed RAID SATA drives Keep rebuilding

JUST BUILT A NEW SYTEM BASED AROUND

ASUS A7N8X DELUX
AMD Barton 3200+
1 GB 400Mhz DDR
Prophet 9800SE
1 40GB IDE DRIVE FOR OS/PROGRAMS
2 x 250GB West Dig SATA mirrored RAID for main storage
1 80GB IDE for extra storage
DVD writer
XP Home Edition

RAID setup and OS installtion went fine.

However one of the RAID is always rebuilding and system unstable and crashing out c. once an hour. Internet explore is particluary unstable.

Help would be appreciated.

Have not attempted to update BIOS or RAID drivers yet.

It sounds like one of the drives is having a problem. You should identify and replace it.

Update your BIOS and drivers please.
