sharing drives question

i have a winxp and win2k pc sharing drives via a dsl router. i can access the shared drive on the win2k box while on the winxp but when i try to access the winxp drive on the win2k box, i get the message:
winxp is not accessible.
logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

i din't do anything different when setting up the shares on either box... yet i can't get to the xp machine.
any suggestions?

both machines should be in the same workgroup and have the same user account names and passwords check the stickies first.
