has anybody had any experience with an excalibur radeon 9600 pro 128mb ram,as i am thinking of getting one and i would appreciate some advice about it.

No experience, but judging by the reviews I could find (in German), it looks good. Most of these 3rd party ie. not Built By ATi cards are very similar, as long as you make sure the core/memory isn't clocked lower than it should be. That card's fine as far as I can tell :t

yep i agree. the only difference might be overclocking potential. for that i recommend a sapphire or powercolor or other popular brand. i just got my sapphire 9600 pro a couple days ago and it came with arctic silver thermal paste(or something just like it) between the core and heatsink. pretty cool. o/ced to 525 / 375 right out of the box. :t
