Can't you just download the drivers from the Jetway website?

Boy does their web site STINK! I tried to look for your mobo drivers and the site was so unorganized that I couldn't find it. TONS of grammatical errors and they spelled "Athlon XP" as "Athlin XP". Anyways, they cram all downloads for SiS chipset boards onto one page without clearly marking each model. sorry, but I couldn't find it.

That board is a KT266a VIA chipset motherboard. All you need is the VIA Hyperions (4 in 1 drivers). Get them here
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=300
*if you use win98, use older VIA version 4.38. If you use ME/XP, use the latest 4.43-4.49. 4.49 should work fine, and XP will recognize all your USB ports just fine - no need for a driver disk.
Thx all, i can hardly believe you've all been so helpful and i'm most grateful. I'll probably download the drivers as suggested but if Crapyking has the disk I would also be grateful for a copy.
In fact I might be buying another one of these boards soon for another project but would still be grateful for any more help, advice and suggestions.
Thx again, Batt.:x

This review of your board gives good info on what drivers you'll need - as I wan not sure if it had AC97 (ALC650) or Cmedia sound. It has AC97 as I thought it would that is implemented on the VT8233a sountbridge. Also, you might want ot know that realtek has released new drivers for AC97 that are w hole lot better than the drivers that would be on that disk that came with the motherboard - so it would sound much cleaner, and less CPU% overhead usage. You can get the updated sound drivers here. Be sure to pick your version of windows.

The review of your mainboard is here-

But that CD might have some handy utilities you can use - if you dont get the CD you might want a hrdware monitor you can use. You can actually use the ITE hardware monitor that is found on Soyo's web site - it will work on all VIA chipsets, you can get the one that is on the page for the Soyo Dragon Kt266a mainboard here. it's called the "hardware Doctor" and it will monitor temperatues for you.

Also, in case you need an AntiVirus for your Daughter that is free (and also very good) for Her system you can get one called AVG, get it here.
